Welcome to Real Deal
We are the first clean living company to ever exist. Our program takes individuals suffering from alcoholism and drug addiction and fully reintegrates them into society. The focus of Real Deal is to help each resident obtain much more than just sobriety, but a life with purpose and joy.
What our residents say
Our residents don't learn how to avoid drugs and alcohol. They learn how to live a great life.
Real Deal was a place for me when I needed it most.— Ben Maddox (resident)
Real Deal was the last place I wanted to be and the first place I needed to be. Now I have brothers for life on a spiritual journey with me.— Lou C. (Resident)
RD has offered me a fellowship within a sober community I’ve never experienced elsewhere. The benefits that come with the house are amazing, but the camaraderie within is my foundation.— Mike C. (Resident)
When my son was in a dire need to be in a sober environment, staff quickly responded and helped to facilitate him by moving quickly into Real Deal. Real Deal has a great strategy and approach to operating in such a manner in which the addict has the best chance of "long-term recovery", through daily meditation, exercise, camaraderie, and community.— Rob R (Father)
RD showed me it was possible to enjoy life and be happy without drugs and alcohol again. Going to meetings and working the steps is a given but the community at RD is what separates it from every other sober house I’ve lived at. It's an intangible quality that's priceless in recovery for me.— Travis W. (Resident)
It's not how many times you get knocked down that matters. It’s how many times you get back up.— Alex S.
Progress not perfection. RD has saved me from a life of despair. I cannot thank RD enough for the changes in my behavior, and allowing me to experience a true life of freedom— Connor W.
Our Daily Focus
One of the key aspects of successful recovery is continuing care for patients after they have finished inpatient treatment. We work with many IOP (intensive outpatient) programs that transport residents to and from their treatment centers. In life, one size does not fit all, and that is doubly true in addiction recovery. That's why we believe in finding treatment that is the best clinical fit for each resident.
We know from years of experience that addiction recovery means more than just abstinence from drugs and alcohol. Getting sober is a great first step, but many times it addresses the symptom rather than the problem. That's where one-on-one counseling comes in. We make sure our residents have the opportunity to participate in counseling to address any underlying issues in their lives. A wide range of options to choose from ensures each resident meets with a professional who is the right fit for them.
When it comes to addiction, more than just the one using the drugs or alcohol gets affected. Often, the family is hit hardest. That's why we started our Family Program.
Hosted by our very own Evan Litton, the family program meets on the first and third Monday of each month. It helps put families back together by rebuilding relationships and teaching family members how to deal with their loved ones' addiction.
